It rained while we drove across Illinois and into Springfield, you could feel the small townness. The buildings were amazing, we found some amazing gems.
The Old State Capital, the monuments to the Donner Party and Lincoln.

We found Old St. Pat's! It was a priority this visit. The church was amazing!
