She had to leave...
Los Angeles
We headed up at the perfect time to miss traffic, 11pm. By the time we go to Culver City, my fly by the seat of our pants, kinda screwed us, as we couldn't find a hotel. I couldn't believe every shit hole on Sepulveda was booked. So, we stopped at Johnnie's Pastrami, and shared a sammich. We decided that pastrami is really just uncooked fat bacon. There was a surprise waiting for us back at the car, the lights on the instrument panel, as well as the instruments were all off, it was 2am in LA on a Friday night, gas gauge and odometer are important. crap.
Finally, there was one room available in Chinatown and hitting the hay close to 4am is tough on us old folks. Saturday, we tracked down a few things I have on my list to visit, Angel's Flight, the worlds shortest railway and Echo Park, the setting for Mi Vida Loca. We booked a room early for Saturday and stay at a nice Marriot near LAX, not too far from the derby bout.
The veterans hall were the meet was was had a upstairs to watch from, which made keeping track of the stats easier. The Wildfires but up a hella of a fight, but the Shore Shots took the win. Flat track is much different from the bank track at the Dollhouse. Man, one good hit and a gal can really fly across that floor. The chicks are so damn tough.

St Paddy's
What sucked was I was home sick half of Thursday, was on the couch all day Friday, accept to go the doctor, always a pleasure with insurance, but I managed to muscle through the St. Patty's parade. It was really great!

Catalano FTW
Jared Leto won Best Supporting Actor for Dallas Buyers Club. I remember first seeing the trailer, and thinking "whoa! I gotta see that" We went and saw it when it was first opened, and his performance was mesmerizing and his acceptance speech was just at tear jerking.

Right my Wrongs
I screwed up. I screwed up big time. It was 1998, I did alot of screwing up then... I penned 4 checks that I wasn't good for, at stupid places too, embarrassing too. (ie Hardees) My bank closed the account and the checks (all around $20-30) were sent to a collection agency in Greeley. When I grew up and went back and tried to right my wrong in 1999, I paid the collection agency and began to request to Experience to take these "collection accounts" off my credit report. I pull credit every January and July and dispute these. It has been 15 years, and I just got the update that they are FINALLY removed.
:) WIN!
