Movie Night - Dorky Love

Schwartman is my celebrity crush.. :) Shopgirl was worth the watch.  Based on a novela writtebn by Steve Martin about when he was young and goofy, and older man was picked by lady over him. 



Afterwards it was Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, to which I have tough time with Steve Carrell as a love interest but movie this left me in tears..

Squishy Bodies & Hobo Art

Driving home from Hip Hop class the tween tells me she is in need of a cardboard box for a project.  Cool, I swing through a few alleys, she declines the boxes at Squidco.  I think fast and head to Smart & Final.  We find one perfect cardboard box lonely on the ground.  She exclaims "that'll work" and I see a Hobo selling art in front of Aaron Brothers.  And for 5$, I scored some original Hobo art.
 

I hear Shea yell from her bedroom, "WHAT ARE SQUISHY BODIES?!!!!" TF?  Turns out her perfect box was indeed...

6th Grade Camp

Kid went to Cardiff State Beach with her class to go camping this weekend.  I was thrilled that she was far from nervous.  We have taking her camping more times that I can remember, an old pro!  She said that other kids were crying or homesick but she was good.

Viva Italia! Gregorian Mass - Check!

Going to the Gregorian Mass in Little Italy has been on the list for many years, last week we finally went.  I can say now, I prefer my mass in Latin,  especially the singing!  The part came in the service when the Father and Choir Boys with there big crosses on sticks head back down the aisle and a lady in the front pew went DOWN with a thump.  Yep.  It was surreal how people seemed to step over her to leave.  Little Italy is so cool!
